What to Expect.

Your time in the tub can vary from 1-10 minutes, and if you are concerned with your recovery, post-workout or your mental well-being, the cold plunge is a less expensive (and much wetter!) version of our cryo-chamber. The cold temperature causes blood vessels to constrict, slowing blood flow, reducing swelling and inflammation in muscles. Because of this reduced blood flow to inflamed areas, our cold plunges can alleviate pain as well and can be beneficial for individuals with inflammatory conditions and chronic pain. Improved circulation is the body’s response to cold water immersion, so when exiting, the widening of the vessels occurs and this process helps retrain the circulatory system promoting better blood flow.
